Heroes of Newerth in the Philippines

Rizal once said that the youth is the hope of the country but it is undeniable that a lot of young Filipinos are hooked on PC games.

It used to be Starcraft then CounterStrike, Ragnarok and DotA.
Now comes a game from an independent American game developer called S2 Games.

Based on DotA, Heroes of Newerth seems to be the next big thing for the Philippine gaming community. It will be published by Singapore based company, Garena for wait for it... FREE!

Philippine Nursing Board Exam November 2009 Results

94,462 nursing graduates took the exam.
Only 37, 527 passed the Philippine November 2009 licensure examination.

For those who passed, the PRC would like to remind them of the requirements for the Nursing Oathtaking.

Please bring the following:
Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
